Responsibilities
- Review medical history.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
- Perform EKGs, wound care, and other diagnostic tests.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHRs).
- Handle correspondence, billing, and medical documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) is strongly preferred. 1+ years of
- experience in a medical office or clinic is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
