Requirements
- What will you need to be successful? Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Biomedical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- experience in a quality or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Competencies (1) Language Skills (written/verbal): Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, and operational procedures.
- Ability to effectively present information, orally and written, and respond to questions to a range of audiences from operators, customers, management, and the general public.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including advanced geometric dimensioning and tolerances. (2) Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and algebra.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, reliability, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis. (3) Logical Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions through root cause or gap analyses.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
