Requirements

  • From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world.
  • Partner directly with Figma's Product, Design, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to provide practical legal guidance on product development and go-to-market strategy
  • Demonstrated interest in AI and
  • experience advising on AI-powered products or platforms
  • experience & J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school (or foreign equivalent) and is U.S.-qualified While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have: •
  • Experience working in-house at a SaaS company
  • Familiarity with using and advising on ML/AI products

  • If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.
  • Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual
  • For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.

  • In this role, you will act as a primary legal partner for our Product, Design, and Engineering (PDE) teams, helping them navigate novel, complex legal questions as our product releases accelerate.

  • You'll report to the Director, Product Legal, and play a pivotal role in shaping how we scale legal guidance across the organization.
  • This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
  • Partner with cross-functional Legal teams (Commercial, IP, Regulatory) to ensure cohesive strategy and support
  • Proven ownership mentality, including hands-on engagement with product details, process-building from scratch, and independent prioritization
