Responsibilities
- Build and Lead a High-Performing Team: Hire, coach, and grow DSAs capable of guiding DNB customers to production success across a wide range of Data, AI, and ML workloads.
- Accelerate Path to Production: Inspire your team to minimize friction, remove blockers, streamline onboarding, and enable customers to get high-impact workloads into production faster.
- Collaborate for Customer Growth: Partner closely with Sales, Solutions Architects, Support, Product Engineering, and Professional Services to build integrated customer plans that accelerate adoption and deliver tangible ROI.
- Champion Operational Rigor: Establish mechanisms for tracking, forecasting, and communicating workload progress, usage growth, and customer health.
- Proven track record in accelerating workloads to production and enabling sustained success on cloud-native platforms.
Requirements
- As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) Manager supporting our Digital Native Business (DNB) segment, you will build, lead, and inspire a team of DSAs who help our most innovative, fast-growing customers accelerate their journey from idea to production on the Databricks Platform.
- You will set strategy, coach technical excellence, and ensure your team remains at the forefront of modern Data and AI architecture.
- Maintain Technical Excellence: Ensure you and your team stays ahead of the curve with advanced knowledge of Databricks and the broader Data and AI ecosystem, continuously learning and achieving certifications.
- experience in customer-facing technical roles (Architecture, Field Engineering, or similar roles with a focus on Data and AI), including 3+ years leading technical teams.
- Deep understanding of and ability to guide complex architectural discussions related to distributed data systems and cloud-native platforms. Hands-on
- experience in SQL, an Object-Oriented Programming Language (preference for Python, SQL, or Scala), code reviews, and architecture design sessions.
- Expertise in Data and AI domains, such as Analytics, Data Warehousing, ETL, Streaming, and/or ML/AI productionization. •
- Experience with hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Your team will focus on accelerating use case onboarding, enabling production workloads, and driving success in production, ensuring every customer achieves measurable outcomes and business value.
- You will report to the Director of Delivery Solutions Architecture for the Digital Native Business Unit.
- Be a Thought Leader and Sponsor: Serve as the technical sponsor for select DNB accounts, engaging tech leads and executives to shape customer success strategy at scale.
- Experienced in cloud-based Lakehouse architectures, specifically in guiding customers through migrations and modernization, leveraging cloud-native architectural principles.
- Ability to manage escalations, forecast usage growth, and operationalize customer success programs.
- Strong communication and executive presence; trusted advisor to technical leaders and C-level stakeholders.
