Responsibilities
- Supervise Medical Records department.
- Maintain medical records in locked cabinets to assure confidentiality of patient information.
- Set up new patient clinical records.
- File documentation in patient charts in chronological order in appropriate locations.
- Monitor check-in and check-out of patient charts by office and field staff.
- Prepare paperwork for IDG meetings.
- Develop and implement systems to ensure organization and timely retrieval of documentation.
- Maintain and store all discharged patient charts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
Requirements
- The job requires the ability to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other related office equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent. •
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (particularly savvy with Excel) Detail oriented.
