Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including corporate documents, IP licenses, and marketing agreements
- Advise and assist on general legal needs as they arise
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction
- Experience providing legal advice to SaaS companies
- Ability to manage a defined set of
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and incorporating feedback into legal recommendations
- Experience supporting international transactions or working with non-US entities •
- Experience counseling on AI matters
- Familiarity with legal operations tools •
- Experience working in a high-growth or scaling environment What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
- Develops increased familiarity with the company’s risk tolerance and escalation practices Location and Work Arrangement
- As developers increasingly collaborate with AI agents to write and ship code, the pace of software delivery is accelerating beyond what traditional review processes can support.
Experience
- At least 8 years of legal experience, including some in-house or equivalent client-facing experience •

- Ability to travel to the Oakland headquarters [as needed] Pay:
- Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones for Level 4:
- Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle - $ 152,900 - $210,210 **
- Zone 2: Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago - $137,600 - $189,200**
- Zone 3: All other US locations - $ 129,900 - $178,640 **
