Director, Major Sales

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a New York-based Majors enterprise team within the AMER market •
  • Recruit, hire, and train a winning team — owning your own sourcing and acting as a talent magnet •
  • Coach direct reports on strategies to drive enterprise sales wins and navigate complex 6-7 figure deals across legal, procurement, and security •
  • Deliver accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management •
  • Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team and track results •
  • Actively lead and monitor demand generation and outbound activities •
  • Lead initiatives to drive customer awareness and engagement, and develop and execute successful sales campaigns •
  • Successfully manage significant client escalations and issues •
  • Track record of success and quota attainment •

Requirements

  • As the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, we create products that help builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
  • Experience selling technical products to technical buyers and developers •

Experience

  • 3+ years of enterprise sales leadership experience •

  • The NYC range for this role is $380,000-$430,000 OTE.
  • Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location.
  • Compensation outside of NYC may be adjusted based on employee location.
  • The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
