Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments in accordance with provider availability and geographic area.
Prioritize and schedule urgent appointment requests promptly.
Ensure that all messages are accurately completed and distributed appropriately.
Manage a high-volume workload efficiently by prioritizing tasks to support prompt and courteous service.
Update account information at the point of scheduling to ensure data accuracy.
Maintain provider daily appointment quotas to optimize scheduling efficiency.
Schedule new patients within 3-5 business days of initial contact.
Manage and address voicemails daily, ensuring all inquiries are resolved appropriately.

Qualifications: Must have proven
experience in a scheduling or administrative role, in a healthcare setting .
Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic medical records systems.
Ability to handle a high-stress, fast-paced work environment.

Handle insurance preauthorization processes efficiently.
Knowledge of insurance processes and preauthorization is preferred.
