Responsibilities
- Define sourcing strategies for new product introductions, Existing portfolio cost improvement, Strategic partnerships and alliances Partner with Commercial teams to optimize regional product offerings, Buy/sell models, Portfolio rationalization C.
Requirements
- Experience: Bachelor’s Degree is required; an Advanced Degree is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of business
- experience in a regulated environment within procurement, business development, marketing, and/or regulatory roles is required.
- Experience in the Crop Protection or Agricultural Products industry is highly preferred.
- A proven track record in negotiating large, complex supply agreements and demonstrated ability to define and execute effective procurement strategies is required. Must Have Qualifications &
- experience in working with other crop protection companies Knowledge of potential data
- requirements and license/royalty aspects of 3rd party actives and how to incorporate into contract for supply Understanding of general accounting and legal concepts as it relates to procurement: contingent liability, enforceability of contracts (legal consideration), and price competitiveness (e.g.
- Capability to organize teams and initiate projects using project management skills Strategic sourcing proficiency, Ability to lead and drive category strategies following a clear methodology and thought process Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, a proven influence.
