Responsibilities
- Support the preparation, review, and filing of Figma's SEC reports and other corporate regulatory filings, including quarterly reports, the annual proxy statement, Section 16 filings, and beneficial ownership reports
- Support review of public-facing corporate communications, including earnings materials and investor presentations
- Build and maintain processes using AI and other tools, such as playbooks, templates, metrics, self-serve tools, and automations, to help improve legal workflows and scale the legal function
Requirements

- experience at a top tier law firm and in-house legal department; you should have a J.D. and be a current member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
- Deep knowledge of corporate and securities laws and SEC reporting requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business judgment, with the ability to distill complex issues and communicate them clearly to stakeholders
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects and recalibrate advice in response to shifting priorities, legal developments, and risk tolerance
- You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you should have a strong self-awareness around what you know and what you don't know, and a sense of curiosity and desire to learn what you don't.
