Principal Product Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate, generate excitement for and obtain buy-in of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive planning, design, development, and launch of products that execute on the vision
  • Define key metrics to evaluate product performance, constantly analyzing data to inform product decisions and measure success
  • Manage relationships and expectations with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Mentor junior PMs on product management best practices and support their professional development
  • Conduct regular data-driven business reviews that analyze product execution and revenue/market accomplishments
  • Proven track record of leading successful product launches and driving product strategies

  • experience in product management in SaaS, IaaS or PaaS
  • Command of analytical thinking skills with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to make product decisions, get executive buy-in, and drive towards measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and present effectively to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong technical, analytical, and UI/UX design understanding and the ability to dive deep while also keeping perspective on the big picture goals
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Desired: •
  • Experience working with telecommunications or other regulated ecosystems. Location
  • For this role, you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings. What We Offer

  • Offerings vary by location. Compensation
  • The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
  • Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $171,120 - $ 213,900.
  • Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $181,200 - $226,500.
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $201,280 - $251,600.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following
  • benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
  • The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
