Requirements

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE: - 5–8 years of legal experience, preferably within fintech, banking, or financial services - Strong knowledge of U.S. banking regulations, including customer protection and payments-related frameworks -
Experience working with or advising on bank partnership models or sponsor bank relationships - Proven ability to manage external counsel and complex legal matters - Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment - Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and support a growing startup PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -
Experience working in a fintech or startup environment - Background in product counseling within regulated industries - Exposure to payments, lending, or embedded finance products - Combination of law firm and in-house experience
