Responsibilities
- Design and ship scalable security solutions.
- Build relationships with engineering to foster cooperative partnerships across key Twilio products and platforms.
- Drive security risk reduction through technical leadership and influence of engineering roadmaps.
- Lead security reviews for critical features, new initiatives and infrastructure changes.
- Cultivate security expertise across engineering teams through mentorship, technical guidance and training.
Requirements

- experience in security engineering with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable security solutions.
- Experience with Threat Modeling methodologies and leading security design reviews. •
- Experience leveraging LLMs in security solutions.
- A strong background in software development with specialized expertise in security engineering.
- Proficiency in Python is required. Proficiency in additional programming languages like Go and Java is a plus. •
- Experience driving software delivery utilizing robust CI/CD processes. •
- Experience leveraging best-in-class development productivity practices including AI tooling.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or related industry experience. Desired:
- Good understanding of infrastructure and application security risks and mitigation techniques. •
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.
- Working knowledge of containerization and cloud infrastructure (AWS). Location •
- For this role, you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings. What We Offer

- The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- CAD 160,320.00 - CAD 200,400.00
- Target Bonus Percentage 15%
